Terms of Use

Last updated August 24, 2026

These are general-purpose website and workshop terms. They are not a substitute for a lawyer’s review or for a separate client services agreement covering any paid work.

1. Acceptance

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Cowboy Detail Group website, workshop registration, workshop materials, and related communications. By using the site or registering for a workshop, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site or register.

2. Eligibility and registration

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. You agree to provide accurate, current information and to update us if information relevant to your registration changes. Workshop seats, schedules, and territory availability may be limited, changed, or withdrawn at any time.

3. Educational purpose

The workshop and website provide general educational and business information. They do not provide legal, tax, accounting, financial, employment, or other professional advice. You are responsible for evaluating information and deciding what is appropriate for your business.

Examples, campaign data, operating figures, and case studies are illustrative and may reflect particular markets, budgets, teams, or time periods. They are not promises or guarantees of leads, bookings, revenue, profit, or any other result.

4. Optional paid services

The workshop may describe optional advertising or implementation services. Attending the workshop does not require a purchase and does not reserve a territory. Any paid engagement is subject to qualification, territory availability, a separate written agreement, and the pricing and scope presented at enrollment. Advertising spend and third-party fees may be separate.

5. Communications

By registering, you authorize us and our service providers to send communications reasonably related to your registration, including confirmations, access details, reminders, and follow-up. If you separately opt into marketing emails or texts, you may withdraw that consent using the unsubscribe instructions or by replying STOP to text messages. Consent to marketing is not a condition of purchase.

6. Workshop conduct and access

You may not disrupt a workshop, misuse access links, impersonate another person, attempt unauthorized access, scrape or interfere with the site, introduce malicious code, or use the site for unlawful activity. We may deny or revoke access for conduct that threatens the workshop, participants, systems, or our rights.

Unless we state otherwise, access links are for the registered attendee and may not be resold, publicly posted, or shared outside the attendee’s organization.

7. Intellectual property

The site, workshop, playbooks, recordings, examples, graphics, logos, and other materials are owned by Cowboy Detail Group or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use workshop materials internally for your own business. You may not sell, publish, reproduce, distribute, or create competing training from the materials without written permission.

8. Third-party services and links

The site may use or link to third-party platforms, including hosting, form, calendar, email, SMS, video, analytics, and advertising providers. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their independent availability, content, security, or privacy practices.

Google Maps Platform provides address suggestions on the enrollment form. Use of those suggestions is subject to the Google Maps Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site, workshop, and materials are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant uninterrupted access, error-free materials, compatibility with your systems, or any particular business outcome.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cowboy Detail Group and its owners, affiliates, personnel, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; lost profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities; or decisions made using workshop information. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

11. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Cowboy Detail Group and its affiliates from third-party claims, liabilities, damages, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the site or materials, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another party’s rights.

12. Changes and severability

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version and changing the “Last updated” date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.

13. Contact

Questions about these Terms may be directed to Cowboy Detail Group through the current contact information maintained on cowboycoating.com.
